ENCHANT Record Live DVD/CD In Oakland: Photos Available
March 21, 2004Bay Area prog-rockers ENCHANT recorded a double live CD and a full-length DVD on March 13 at I-Musicast in Oakland, California. According to Eric of VOX TEMPUS (web site),"the performance, over two hours long, featured selections from all seven of the band's studio albums. Fans flew in from as far as Germany and Brazil for this special headlining event, which included an intimate pre-show party to sit down and meet the band. Those who couldn't travel to the show were able to enjoy the live webcast, and chat with other viewers in real time. (The band paused their set at one point to read some of the posts out loud from the monitors on stage!) These guys really love their fans, and spent a lot of time afterwards meeting everyone and signing everything. I met a lot of very grateful rock fans this weekend, who are still sending pictures that I am posting at this location."
ENCHANT's most recent studio album, "Tug Of War", was released last July through Inside Out Music. The 10-song opus was again produced by guitarist Doug Ott and mixed by Tom Size, who had previously worked with MR. BIG, SAMMY HAGAR and Y&T, among many others.
